About this role
Every child deserves a teacher who believes in them before they believe in themselves.
At Ide, we believe great teachers do far more than teach lessons. They inspire confidence. They spark curiosity. They help children discover strengths they never knew they had.
The moments that matter most in education are often the quiet ones. The child who finally puts their hand up. The reluctant learner who begins to believe in themselves. The pupil who feels truly seen, understood and valued.
These moments happen because of exceptional teachers. Teachers who bring warmth, energy and creativity into the classroom. Teachers who set high expectations whilst showing compassion. Teachers who understand that relationships are at the heart of learning.
We are looking for someone who:
believes every child can succeed and thrive
builds positive, trusting relationships with children and families
brings enthusiasm, creativity and passion to teaching and learning
creates engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity and a love of learning
has high expectations whilst understanding that every child is unique
is reflective, ambitious and committed to continual professional growth
values teamwork, collaboration and shared success
has a good sense of humour and values the unique strengths of a small school community
In this role, you will:
create a safe, inclusive and inspiring classroom environment
deliver high-quality teaching that enables every child to make excellent progress
support children's academic, social and emotional development
nurture confidence, independence and resilience
work closely with colleagues to provide exceptional learning experiences
build strong partnerships with families and the wider school community
celebrate achievements and help children recognise their own potential
play an active role in the wider life of the school
If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
