Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Civil Carpenter to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in a variety of civil construction projects, helping deliver high-quality infrastructure outcomes across the Tasman region. Working as part of a supportive and collaborative crew, you'll take pride in your workmanship and contribute to projects that make a real difference within our communities. Key tasks include:
• Constructing, installing and repairing formwork for concrete structures.
• Building retaining walls.
• Assisting with concrete placing, finishing and related civil construction activities.
• Reading and interpreting plans and project specifications.
• Operating and maintaining tools, plant and equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensuring work is completed to a high standard with strong attention to detail.
• Contributing to a positive team culture and maintaining a strong commitment to safety.

• Previous experience as a Civil Carpenter or in a similar construction environment.
• Concrete and formwork experience preferred.
• Experience in retaining structures preferred.
• Strong eye for detail and initiative
• The ability to work independently and show initiative.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
• WTR endorsements and a Class 2 licence are advantageous but not essential.
• A commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a hardworking team.
