Job Title: Material Handler - 7am-7pm Job DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated material handlers to join our team. This role involves the efficient movement of materials to and from the production department.Responsibilities
• Safely and effectively operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks. • Conduct daily pre-shift checks on forklifts, including battery changes. • Inspect products to ensure proper packaging for shipment. • Lift boxes weighing up to 35 lbs consistently. • Accurately fill out labels and paperwork. • Verify correct weights and counts of materials. • Construct cardboard boxes from collapsed cartons. • Relieve packers for breaks. Essential Skills
• Material handling experience. • Proficiency in forklift operation. • Ability to manage the movement of materials efficiently. • 6 months of forklift experience is required. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred. • Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills. You will work 15 days a month across two shifts: 7am - 7pm (A & B) and 7pm - 7am (C & D). Please note that NCNS results in automatic termination, and two call-ins are allowed per month. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bettendorf, IA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
