Aerotek is hiring for Machine Operators in Sussex County, DE! This is a contract to hire position offering full benefits. Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join our team. This role will operate press brakes, CNC laser machines, and perform general labor tasks with the opportunity to be cross-trained on a variety of other production equipment. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor press brakes and CNC laser machines to cut materials to precise specifications. • Set up machines, adjust controls, and ensure proper machine operation. • Read and interpret job orders, blueprints, or work instructions. • Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance on machinery. • Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. • Assist with operating other production equipment as part of cross-training. • Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines. Essential Skills
• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving ability. • Basic math skills, including measurements, conversions, and tolerances. • Ability to read and understand production or machine instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Prior experience operating industrial or manufacturing equipment preferred. • Experience with press brakes, CNC equipment is a plus, but not required. • Willingness to learn and be trained on multiple machines. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrington, DE. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
