Production Associate – 2nd Shift (Entry Level, Growth Opportunity) This is a hands‑on production role where you’ll operate extrusion and related equipment, complete set‑ups and changeovers, and support weigh‑up and packaging. You’ll work with a stable team, receive training, and help produce high‑quality materials that meet customer specifications. If you have basic machine‑operating experience and want a long‑term role with real advancement potential, this is a strong fit. What You’ll Do
• Run production lines safely and efficiently using established procedures. • Perform set‑ups and changeovers for different batches and products. • Verify and weigh ingredients to match recipes and batch specs. • Operate weigh‑up and packaging equipment and check controls for safety and accuracy. • Process and package materials to correct size, container, and customer requirements. • Clean machines to maintain reliability and product quality. • Complete documentation accurately and on time. • Maintain a safe, organized work area and support continuous improvement. • Lift and move materials as part of daily production tasks. What You Need
• 6–12 months of machine‑operation experience (extrusion, injection molding, or similar). • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new equipment. • Ability to lift 55 lbs and occasionally up to 250 lbs with proper assistance. • Ability to stand, kneel, and crouch throughout the shift. • Attention to detail with recipes, measurements, and documentation. • Strong safety mindset and reliability. • 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. • Clean, organized production environment with extrusion and packaging equipment. • Active, on‑your‑feet role with regular lifting and material handling. • Safety‑focused, structured workflow, and steady production pace. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
