Inventory Associate @ Aerotek

Inventory Associate Job Description We are currently seeking an Inventory Associate to support inventory control, warehouse operations, and shipping/receiving activities within a fast-paced distribution and manufacturing environment. This role combines hands-on warehouse responsibilities with inventory management and data entry, requiring a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.The successful candidate will help verify, document, organize, and track inventory while supporting daily warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and material movement. Responsibilities

• Verify inventory by confirming part numbers, descriptions, and quantities against inventory records. • Accurately document inventory transactions using warehouse management systems (WMS), spreadsheets, and internal software. • Organize inventory and materials within warehouse storage locations according to established procedures. • Operate material handling equipment, including sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers (training provided as required). • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels. • Use RF scanners and order-picking tools to locate, pick, and stage materials. • Support shipping and receiving operations, including loading, unloading, and shipment verification. • Pack, label, and prepare products for outbound shipments. • Enter inventory and transaction data into Microsoft Excel and other systems with a high degree of accuracy. • Follow all safety procedures while handling materials and operating equipment. • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and inventory accuracy. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of inventory control experience. • Minimum 1 year of experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS). • Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience in a warehouse or distribution environment. • Experience operating forklifts or willingness to be trained on sit-down forklifts and cherry pickers. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel. • Strong data entry skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail. • Experience performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliation activities. • Experience using RF scanners for inventory tracking and order picking. • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. • Strong communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. • Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday. Preferred Qualifications

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
