Job Title: PackagerJob DescriptionAs a Packager, you will play a key role in warehouse operations by moving, storing, picking, and packing inventory to fulfill customer orders accurately and on time. You will prepare shipments according to specific customer requirements, use scanning and warehouse management tools to maintain inventory accuracy, and help keep the facility organized, clean, and safe. This position supports general warehouse, shipping, and receiving activities on a first-shift schedule.Responsibilities

• Move and store inventory in designated warehouse locations in an organized and efficient manner. • Pick materials and products accurately for customer orders using established procedures. • Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring items are wrapped, banded, and labeled correctly on pallets and cartons. • Prepare shipments according to customer requirements, including proper documentation, labeling, and packaging standards. • Use RF scanners, barcode scanners, or warehouse management systems to perform inventory transactions and track product movement. • Maintain inventory accuracy by recording transactions promptly and following standard work instructions. • Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support safe and efficient operations. • Follow all safety procedures and standard work instructions while operating in the warehouse environment. • Support general warehouse, shipping, and receiving activities as needed, including general production, picking, packing, and labeling tasks. • Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks to move materials safely. • Collaborate with team members to learn new processes and contribute suggestions for improving workflow, speed, and overall efficiency. • Adapt to evolving processes in a growing operation and help refine procedures as the division expands. Essential Skills

• 6–12 months of experience in warehouse operations, specifically in picking, packing, labeling, and using RF scanners. • Ability to use RF scanners, barcode scanners, and basic warehouse management systems to perform inventory transactions. • Strong written and verbal communication skills to follow instructions and document work accurately. • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly in a warehouse environment. • Basic computer skills, including the ability to navigate systems and print labels. • Experience with general production and packaging tasks in a warehouse or distribution setting. • Ability to operate pallet jacks safely for material handling. • Attention to detail to ensure accurate labeling, packing, and order fulfillment. • Reliability and punctuality to work a consistent first-shift schedule (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM). • Experience with general labor and packager roles in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. • Experience in labeling, packaging, and general production activities. • Comfort working in a fast-growing operation where processes are evolving and improving. • Willingness to learn new systems and procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team. • Adaptability and patience to navigate initial start-up conditions and contribute to building efficient workflows. The division is newly established and in start-up mode, with a small team that will grow rapidly to house nearly 100 people over the next several months. You will work a first-shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM in a warehouse environment that uses RF scanners, barcode scanners, warehouse management systems, and pallet jacks. Processes are actively being developed and refined, so the environment may feel somewhat unorganized at first, and early team members are expected to be patient, learn evolving procedures, and help shape smoother, faster, and more effective workflows. The atmosphere is focused on safety, cleanliness, and continuous improvement, offering a modern, upgraded setting for daily operations. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.84/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
