Assembler & Shipping and Receiving Clerk 1st Shift $20 - $24hrJob DescriptionAs a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for sorting incoming parts, palletizing boxes, banding pallets, and operating pallet jacks to maintain a safe and efficient warehouse flow. Additionally, you will perform boxing, taping, foaming, light assembly, and apply labels accurately to meet both production and customer requirements.Responsibilities
• Sort incoming parts and palletize boxes. • Band pallets and operate pallet jacks. • Perform boxing, taping, foaming, and light assembly. • Apply labels correctly to meet production and customer standards. • Stock parts and supplies, maintain organized work areas. • Assist with basic cycle-counting activities as needed. • Use hand and power tools for hose assembly work. • Dispose of refuse and adhere to housekeeping standards. • Ensure materials are staged and stored according to safety guidelines. Essential Skills
• Experience in production, assembly, and hose assembly. • Competency in kitting, shipping and receiving. • Proficiency in using hand and power tools. • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and schematics. • Familiarity with using tape measures and repair techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Ability to check parts, packaging, and finished goods for defects and compliance. • Comfortable using simple production equipment like tape machines and shrink wrap machines. • Experience with scanners, inventory systems, or label-printing software. • Ability to stand for long periods, lift boxes up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks safely. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
