About this role
Support the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in developing and reporting on migration-related projects across the Caribbean. The position focuses on project design, donor engagement, stakeholder coordination, reporting, knowledge management, and support to regional migration initiatives. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Development Support the design of regional projects on migration governance, labour mobility, climate mobility, and disaster displacement. Prepare concept notes, logframes, donor briefs, and funding proposals. Identify funding opportunities, including climate finance and Loss & Damage mechanisms relevant to Small Island Developing States (SIDS). Contribute to technical cooperation initiatives with governments and regional institutions. 2. Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate with UN agencies, donors, regional partners, and IOM country offices. Support resource mobilization and joint regional initiatives. Participate in workshops, technical meetings, and coordination forums to strengthen partnerships and align regional efforts. 3. Reporting & Knowledge Management Develop research briefs, reports, infographics, and communication materials. Support donor and management reporting, including visibility of project results. Contribute to reporting and communications for the ECHO-funded disaster preparedness and response programme. 4. UNV Platform Support Assist with management of IOM's UN Volunteer platform. Support quality assurance of volunteer assignments, onboarding, reporting, and progress tracking. Provide guidance to country offices on UNV processes and services. Education Bachelor's degree in International Affairs, International Development, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or related field. Experience Interest or up to 2 years of experience in migration, human mobility, displacement, development, or humanitarian affairs. Strong research, analytical, writing, and reporting skills. Experience working with multicultural teams and diverse stakeholders. Previous volunteering, internship, or international exposure is an advantage. Preferred Skills Project development and coordination. Knowledge management and reporting. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading. Data visualization tools such as Power BI, Canva, or Adobe InDesign (desirable). Languages Fluent English (required).
