About this role

UNDP Colombia is seeking a Partnerships and Innovative Finance Associate to support partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and innovative financing initiatives within the Peace, Justice and Crisis Response Area. This role offers valuable exposure to sustainable development, peacebuilding, resource mobilization, development finance, and strategic partnerships with the private sector and international financial institutions. Key Responsibilities Conduct quantitative, economic, and territorial analyses to identify development trends, financing gaps, and investment opportunities. Support the mapping and engagement of private sector partners, foundations, business associations, impact investors, and other stakeholders. Monitor trends and opportunities in private sector engagement, impact investing, blended finance, and sustainable development financing. Document lessons learned, best practices, and knowledge products related to partnerships and innovative finance. Facilitate coordination and information sharing across UNDP teams involved in partnerships, resource mobilization, and programme implementation. Contribute to strategic positioning, partnership development, and resource mobilization efforts. Perform additional tasks supporting the Peace, Justice and Crisis Response Area. Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, International Business, International Relations, Development Studies, or a related field. Languages Fluent Spanish (required). Working knowledge of English (desirable). Experience No prior professional experience required. Demonstrated interest in: Partnership development and stakeholder engagement. Private sector engagement, innovative finance, impact investing, blended finance, or resource mobilization. Economic and quantitative analysis related to peacebuilding, governance, justice, sustainable development, or international cooperation. Volunteer, internship, international exposure, or cross-cultural experience is an asset. Skills Strong analytical, research, and quantitative skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Eligibility Irish-funded assignment: applicants must be Irish citizens, EEA nationals with unrestricted residency rights in Ireland, or individuals holding refugee status in Ireland.
