About this role
Support UN Women Caribbean in programme management, coordination, research, and administrative operations across the English- and Dutch-speaking Caribbean. The position contributes to initiatives focused on gender equality, women's economic empowerment, ending violence against women and girls, and climate resilience. Key Responsibilities 1. Programme Planning & Implementation Support preparation of programme work plans, budgets, and implementation arrangements. Assist with consultancy and partnership processes. Coordinate programme activities, missions, events, and travel logistics. 2. Knowledge Management & Research Maintain programme and project documentation. Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and public information products. Research, collect, and compile data for reports, speeches, guidelines, and policy documents. 3. Programme & Operations Coordination Support budget monitoring and review of financial documentation. Assist with payments and administrative processes related to programme delivery. Organize meetings, workshops, missions, and events. Promote and share project management best practices. 4. Partnerships & Organizational Support Support UN Women events, retreats, and awareness campaigns, including International Women's Day activities. Assist coordination with UN agencies, implementing partners, and development partners. Contribute to inter-agency collaboration and stakeholder engagement initiatives. Education Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as International Development, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Gender Studies, Business Administration, or related disciplines. Experience Entry-level position with no significant prior experience required. Interest in programme management, gender equality, international development, or project coordination. Previous volunteering, internships, or international experience are an advantage. Preferred Skills Programme and project administration. Research and data management.
