About this role
Responsibilities Manage procurement activities to ensure on-time delivery, supply continuity, and optimal inventory levels. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving improvements in quality, delivery performance, and overall supplier effectiveness. Lead sourcing and purchasing activities, including RFQs, RFIs, supplier negotiations, cost analysis, contract management, and procurement decision-making. Monitor supplier performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve delivery, quality, logistics, and payment issues. Implement and optimize procurement systems, tools, and processes to improve operational efficiency and data accuracy. Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data within SAP and ensure compliance with procurement procedures. Support inventory management through forecasting, planning, and supplier rescheduling activities. Provide guidance and coaching to junior buyers while supporting team performance and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health & safety, legal, and corporate governance requirements. Act as a key liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 6-8 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, or new product introduction (NPI) environments. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, sourcing strategies, and inventory control. Proficiency in SAP; experience with Power BI, Tableau, Macro, or other analytics tools is preferred. Excellent supplier negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with a continuous improvement mindset. Demonstrated leadership capability with experience coordinating projects, leading commodity initiatives, and mentoring junior team members. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities effectively. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering results. Good command of written and spoken English.
