Misión <div style="font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;">We are seeking a skilled <strong>ICT Infrastructure Design Engineer</strong> to contribute to multidisciplinary infrastructure projects across the globe. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in the planning, design, and engineering of ICT and field communication infrastructure, with a strong focus on delivering innovative, cost-effective, and regulatory-compliant solutions.<br><br>This role requires hands-on design experience in ICT civil infrastructure and site-wide connectivity solutions, as well as a deep understanding of <strong>fibre distribution</strong>, <strong>security infrastructure</strong>, and <strong>ICT capacity planning</strong> for large-scale projects.</div> What will be your responsibilities? <ul><li><strong>Develop ICT engineering calculations, design drawings, and technical specifications</strong> using software such as<strong> AutoCAD, Revit,</strong> or similar tools.</li><li>Participate in the development of active and passive ICT networks, OSP, fibre backbones, and site-wide connectivity solutions.</li><li><strong>Integrate ICT systems with MEP</strong> (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and architectural layouts.</li><li><strong>Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ)</strong>, cost estimates, and tender documentation for ICT-related scopes.</li><li><strong>Prepare comprehensive design documentation and schematics</strong>, including Concept, Detailed Design, and Tender documents.</li><li><strong>Prepare technical documentation and liaise with local authorities</strong> to ensure regulatory compliance and obtain the necessary approvals.</li><li><strong>Ensure ICT designs comply with Tier standards</strong> (Uptime Institute/TIA-942), BICSI, ISO/IEC, IEEE, and local codes.</li><li><strong>Review vendor proposals, shop drawings, and product submissions </strong>for compliance with project requirements.</li><li><strong>Engage with clients, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams</strong> to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.</li><li><strong>Provide technical support</strong> during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning phases.</li><li><strong>Perform site inspections</strong> to verify the proper installation of ICT infrastructure in line with approved designs.</li><li><strong>Coordinate with civil infrastructure, landscape, and utilities teams </strong>on civil works related to ICT containment, poles, and ducting for ICT and security systems.</li><li><strong>Collaborate with cross-functional teams </strong>(electrical, mechanical, security, AV, and operations) to ensure seamless system integration.</li><li>Stay updated on emerging ICT technologies for data centres and recommend solutions that enhance efficiency, scalability, and resilience.</li></ul> This is the profile we are looking for <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, ICT Engineering, or a related discipline.</li><li>5-7 years of experience in ICT infrastructure design and critical infrastructure engineering.</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM for ICT design documentation.</li><li>Deep understanding of infrastructure design and ICT capacity planning for large-scale projects.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of structured cabling, data centre networking, and ICT physical infrastructure.</li><li>Expertise in ICT infrastructure for mission-critical facilities.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of local telecommunications, ICT, and security codes and regulations.</li><li>Familiarity with Uptime Institute Tier Certification and TIA-942 standards.</li><li>Understanding of the coordination of ICT systems with MEP systems in data centre environments.</li><li>Engineering design consultancy experience is highly preferred.</li><li>BICSI RCDD certification or an equivalent qualification is preferred.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.</li><li>Strong design documentation and technical writing skills, with proficiency in English.</li><li>Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-disciplinary engineering teams.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results within deadlines.</li><li>Commitment to delivering high-quality designs aligned with reliability and availability requirements.</li></ul> Our benefits 1.
