As part of our multinational and multidisciplinary consultancy, you will work alongside experienced engineers and industry experts, supporting the delivery of cutting-edge data centre, industrial, and infrastructure projects across the region.<br><br>This role offers the opportunity to develop your expertise in <strong>civil and structural design review, engineering coordination, and technical due diligence</strong>, while collaborating closely with internal disciplines, external consultants, and clients. What will be your responsibilities? <ul><li><span><span>Review civil and structural calculations, drawings, and reports prepared by third-party consultants.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Assist in checking compliance with project requirements, Malaysian regulations, and applicable international codes (MS EN / Eurocode / BS).</span></span></li><li><span><span>Coordinate with external C&S consultants and internal disciplines (MEP, BIM, architectural).</span></span></li><li><span><span>Assist in responses to technical queries, RFIs, and design clarifications.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Assist in preparing C&S inputs for bid documents, technical proposals, and scope definitions. Support due diligence assessments, including high-level review of existing drawings, reports, and site information.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Assist in preparing concept-level C&S designs, layouts, and technical narratives (non-detailed design).</span></span></li><li><span><span>Support preparation of engineering assumptions, design criteria, and risk registers at early project stages.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Support site inspections and responses to site technical queries when required.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Maintain proper design review records and documentation in accordance with QA procedures.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Support submissions to Malaysian authorities and statutory agencies.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Participate in design audits, risk assessments, and quality reviews. </span></span></li></ul> This is the profile we are looking for <ul><li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as a Graduate Engineer. Professional Engineer (Ir.) registration is highly preferred.</li><li>Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in engineering consultancy, with exposure to design review and project coordination. Experience in data centre, industrial, or infrastructure projects is an added advantage.</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD is required. Exposure to BIM/Revit is an advantage.</li><li>Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage to support stakeholder engagement, project coordination, and communication with Mandarin-speaking clients and consultants.</li><li>Fundamental understanding of reinforced concrete (RC), precast, and steel structural systems.</li><li>Knowledge of relevant design codes and standards, including MASMA, UTG, MSIG, JKR Standards, MS EN, Eurocodes, and British Standards (BS).</li><li>Ability to interpret civil and structural drawings and engineering calculations.</li><li>Ability to review and interpret Soil Investigation (SI) and geotechnical reports is an advantage.</li><li>Knowledge of civil and structural analysis software is an advantage.</li><li>Strong communication and coordination skills, with proficiency in English.</li><li>Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a willingness to learn and develop professionally.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environment.</li></ul> Our benefits <ol><li>Hybrid working arrangement – 2 days in the office, with the remaining 3 days working from home</li><li>Company-provided laptop and accessories</li><li>Medical & Outpatient benefits</li><li>Hospitalization insurance </li><li>Annual leave – starting from 18 days per year</li><li>Performance-based annual bonus (based on KPIs)</li><li>Annual salary increment </li><li>Training and development opportunities to support your career growth</li></ol>
