Job Summary\You will serve as a LEAD ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN (AFLOAT NETWORKS) in the Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center of FWD DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET ROTA, SPAIN.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Possessing technical knowledge of shipboard network environments, including Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services, Common Computer Operating System Environment, Cisco/Alcatel routing, and Host Based Security Systems AND leading a small technical team AND performing hands-on system modernizations, including functional checkouts, ensuring the operational integrity of shipboard computer systems and network infrastructure. Major DutiesYou will ensure that the organization’s strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated and integrated into the team’s strategies, goals, objectives, work plans, products and services.You will be responsible for establishing training and tooling budgets required for the team/team members and initiate associated purchase requests.You will lead the team in identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level and/or occupational specialization.You will be responsible for adjusting the workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of assigned team tasks; ensuring that each employee has an role in developing the final team product.You will prepare reports/maintain records of work accomplishments and administrative information and coordinate the preparation/presentation/communication of work-related information to the supervisor.You will train/arrange for training of team members in methods/techniques of working in teams to accomplish tasks/projects and provide/arrange for specific administrative/technical training necessary for accomplishment of individual/team tasks.You will serve as coach, facilitator and/or negotiator in coordinating team initiatives and in consensus building activities among team members.
