Job description Job responsibilities Why you should join our Team

The team provide a regional service and facilitate a seamless and co-ordinated approach to support patients through a variety of treatment pathways which may be multi-modality. As a key member of the specialist multi-disciplinary team you will carry continuing responsibility for a defined caseload, including the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.

The post holder will contribute to the development of the Liver service as well as contributing to the strategic direction of nursing within the trust.

The post holder will need to have excellent communication skills, be highly motivated and be able to work well in a team.

Experience and knowledge in caring for patients with HPB cancers would be desirable, as well as an in depth knowledge on current issues in nursing and cancer care.

What you will bring to the role Registered Nurse (Level 1) Recognised teaching/assessing qualification

Significant post registration experience at Band 5 or equivalent and experience within a relevant speciality Audit & Standard setting

Evidence of continued professional development

Willing to undergo training as necessary

Current issues in healthcare

Capable of lateral thinking

Excellent written and verbal skills

Ability to organise and prioritise own and others workload
