Main duties of the job As a Second Chef at Barchester, you will assist the Head Chef in delivering hotel/restaurant standards without the split shifts. You will create nutritious, flavoursome, and well-balanced menus while working with residents to tailor them. Are you a qualified Chef looking to work with fresh seasonal food, with the opportunity to have more of a work life balance and make what you do matter? Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
A personable and warm approach with genuine interest in residents wellbeing. Must hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent. Good understanding of nutrition and experience working with fresh seasonal food. Ability to create a welcoming environment and confidence in engaging with residents for menu development. Understanding of HACCP.
