Job Summary Synechron is hiring a Java Backend Developer to build and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs. This role supports business goals by delivering reliable, secure, and high-performing services.
Software Requirements Required
• Java 8+ • Spring Boot, Spring MVC • REST APIs • Microservices knowledge • MySQL, familiarity with MongoDB • Git • Maven or Gradle • Basic Docker knowledge

Overall Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and APIs • Integrate with frontend systems and third-party services • Write clean, reusable, and efficient code • Conduct code reviews and improve code quality • Troubleshoot backend issues and optimize performance • Implement security and data protection measures • Collaborate with QA, product, and frontend teams

Experience Requirements
• 5+ years of Java backend development experience • Experience building APIs and backend services • Experience in microservices or service-based environments • Equivalent practical experience may also be considered
Day-to-Day Activities
• Develop backend features and APIs • Maintain and improve existing services • Review code and resolve issues • Write tests and technical documentation • Join stand-ups, sprint planning, and team collaboration sessions
Qualifications Required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience
