Job summary We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Corporate & Clinical Governance Administrator to provide professional, confidential, and efficient administrative support across our Corporate and Clinical Governance functions. This pivotal role supports the Board of Trustees, Executive Team and Clinical Governance Team, helping to ensure effective governance processes, regulatory compliance and the delivery of high-quality hospice care. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating meetings, maintaining governance records, producing accurate minutes and supporting a variety of governance activities across the organisation.
Main duties of the job Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Corporate Governance Manager, Head of Clinical Governance, Executive Team and governance committees. Organise and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, collating papers, distributing documentation, taking accurate minutes and monitoring follow-up actions. Support the management of governance documentation, ensuring policies, procedures, guidelines and terms of reference are reviewed, maintained and accessible. Assist with governance processes including incident reviews, After Action Reviews, Subject Access Requests, Access to Health Records Requests and Coroner enquiries. Provide diary, inbox and communication support where required, acting as a professional first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Maintain accurate governance records, track actions and risks, and support organisational compliance with governance standards and regulatory requirements. Work collaboratively across both governance teams, providing flexible support while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, professionalism and integrity.

Job description Job responsibilities Deliver high-quality administrative support across Corporate and Clinical Governance functions. Coordinate Board, committee and governance meetings, ensuring papers and minutes are produced to a consistently high standard. Maintain governance systems, records, policies, logs and documentation, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date. Develop effective working relationships with trustees, executive leaders, colleagues, healthcare professionals and external partners. Support organisational governance activities including risk monitoring, action tracking, policy management and governance reporting. Assist with confidential information requests and governance investigations in accordance with organisational procedures and statutory requirements. Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
