CAT Property Claims Customer Support Representative - Remote $18/Hr

Serve as a primary point of contact for our customers, policyholders, carrier partners, and internal stakeholders during catastrophic events such as hurricanes, floods, and earthquakes. This role is responsible for delivering a positive customer experience by providing accurate information, resolving inquiries, scheduling services, and supporting customers throughout their residential property claims process. The CSR demonstrates our commitment to Customer Excellence by creating positive interactions, actively listening to customer needs, communicating clearly, and taking ownership of customer concerns through resolution. Day in the Life
Customer Experience & Service Excellence
Deliver exceptional customer service through professional, courteous, and empathetic interactions.
Create positive customer experiences by actively listening, understanding customer needs, and responding with urgency and care.
Build trust and confidence with customers by providing accurate, timely, and consistent information.
Take ownership of customer inquiries and work toward effective resolution while maintaining a customer-first mindset.
Demonstrate patience, professionalism, and emotional intelligence when handling challenging customer interactions.
Customer Support Operations
Handle inbound and outbound customer communications via telephone and other approved communication channels.
Schedule property inspections and assist customers with service-related requests.
Provide accurate information regarding inspection appointments, technician arrival expectations, reports, and related services.
Respond to customer questions and concerns while maintaining service quality standards.
Escalate unresolved issues appropriately and in accordance with company procedures.
Documentation & System Usage
Accurately document customer interactions, inquiries, resolutions, and follow-up actions within company systems.
Navigate multiple software applications and computer systems simultaneously while maintaining data accuracy.
Utilize multiple monitors and technology platforms to efficiently manage customer interactions.
Maintain detailed and organized records that support operational and customer service objectives.
Continuous Improvement
Gather and communicate customer feedback, trends, and recurring issues to leadership.
Participate in training, coaching, and quality assurance initiatives.
Support departmental goals related to customer satisfaction, quality, productivity, and service excellence.
Contribute positively to team performance and company culture.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities: Must Haves
High School Diploma or GED required
Previous customer service, call center, administrative support, retail, hospitality, or related experience
Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Position Details
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Start Date: September 18th, 2026
Schedule:
Training: Approximately 4 weeks (8:30am - 5:00pm EST | Monday - Friday)
Post-Training Schedule: Shifts could fall between the hours of 11:00am - 9:00pm EST | 7 days a week
At least one weekend day is required
This is a Disaster Response / Catastrophe (CAT) position and is contingent upon relief needs.
