Job Title: Cleanroom TechnicianJob DescriptionJoin a precision-focused fabrication team that designs and produces multilayer insulation blankets for aerospace, cryogenic, and defense applications. As a Cleanroom Technician, you will support industrial sewing and fabrication activities, work in a cleanroom environment, and play a key role in documentation, inspection, and assembly processes that meet strict quality standards.Responsibilities

• Sew heavy canvas and related materials using industrial sewing machines and other fabrication equipment. • Read and interpret shop prints, blueprints, and measurements to cut materials to the correct size and specifications. • Perform accurate measurements using rulers and other measuring tools to ensure proper fit and alignment of materials. • Document all work performed in accordance with ISO and quality system requirements, maintaining detailed and accurate records. • Follow cleanroom protocols, including proper gowning procedures with bonnet, smock, booties, veil, beard guard (as applicable), and cleanroom gloves. • Support inspection activities to verify product quality, dimensions, and adherence to specifications. • Assist with assembly and fabrication of multilayer insulation blankets and related components for aerospace and cryogenic applications. • Maintain a high level of attention to detail when working with shop prints, inspection criteria, and documentation. • Operate sewing machines, industrial sewing machines, and related equipment safely and efficiently. • Collaborate with team members and trainers, follow instructions, and communicate clearly in English to ensure effective training and workflow. • Adhere to cleanroom, GMP, and quality standards while working in temperature-controlled and organized production areas. • Lift and move materials up to 25 pounds as needed to support production and assembly tasks. Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3+ months of sewing experience preferred, or at least 6 months of manufacturing experience (commercial, industrial, or personal). • At least 6 months of experience in inspection, assembly, or working with high levels of documentation. • Ability to pass reading, English, and math assessments. • Ability to read a ruler and perform basic measurements accurately. • Capability to lift up to 25 pounds safely and repeatedly during the workday. • Ability to read and understand shop prints and blueprints; 6 months to 1 year of blueprint reading experience is preferred. • Strong English communication skills, including the ability to speak, understand, and follow instructions for effective training. • High attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation and quality inspection. • Willingness to learn industrial sewing and cleanroom procedures with on-the-job training. • GED or high school diploma preferred but not required. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Cleanroom experience and familiarity with gowning procedures is a significant plus. • Experience in medical assembly, medical device manufacturing, or GMP environments is beneficial. • Experience in quality inspection, documentation, and inspection processes is advantageous. • Experience operating industrial sewing machines, knitting machines, or similar textile equipment is helpful. • Comfort working in organized, ISO-focused environments with documented processes and inspections. • Demonstrated good work history and willingness to work hard and contribute positively to the team. • Ability to adapt to both first shift (Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and second shift (Monday–Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.) schedules, depending on business needs. Depending on assignment, you may work on first shift (Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) or second shift (Monday–Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.). Cleanroom attire includes gloves, hair net, smock, bonnet, booties, veil, beard guard as applicable, and cleanroom gloves. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
