Job Title: Slitter OperatorJob DescriptionAs a Press Operator, you will lead the operation of press lines, including changeovers, machine start-up, running, and shut-down. You will support the operations in achieving World Class standards, starting with safety, and ensure jobs are run according to customer, manufacturing, and print specifications.Responsibilities
• Lead and manage all aspects of press line operations. • Conduct machine changeovers, start-up, running, and shut-down efficiently. • Ensure adherence to customer specifications, manufacturing guidelines, and standard operating procedures. • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork such as production reports, job verification sheets, and QA reports. • Collaborate with and guide the press assistant and pit crew to reduce change-over and downtime. • Train and direct the press assistant to become proficient in their duties as per the assistant training matrix. • Comply with all 5S and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) initiatives. • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management. Essential Skills
• 1+ year of manufacturing experience. • Proficiency in data entry into computer systems. • Ability to function independently and collaboratively. • Capability to lift 50 lbs as needed. • Production and machine operating experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications
