We are seeking a reliable Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting extrusion equipment while ensuring production and quality standards are consistently met. Key Responsibilities
• Set up and operate extrusion machinery safely and efficiently • Monitor equipment performance and make adjustments as needed • Follow product specifications, work instructions, and company procedures • Read scales and measurements to accurately mix and measure color formulations • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor repairs using hand tools • Maintain production targets while ensuring product quality standards are achieved • Complete in-process quality inspections and documentation • Accurately enter production data into the company database Required Qualifications
• Previous machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills • Ability to set up, adjust, and operate production equipment • Basic math skills, including multiplication and division (calculator permitted) • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality • Ability to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently Preferred Qualifications
• Prior extrusion machine operation experience • Mechanical maintenance or repair experience • Experience following raw material mixing procedures and cycle times • Familiarity with production reporting and data entry • Experience using hand tools in a manufacturing setting Why Join Our Team? • Monday through Friday • 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM • $19.00/hour base pay • Additional 4% shift differential Weekend Day Shift
• Thursday through Saturday • 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM • $19.00/hour base pay • Additional 5% shift differential Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing production environment where safety, quality, and productivity are top priorities. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
