š¦ Warehouse Supervisor 2nd Shift ā FastāPaced, KPIāDriven Operation Join a national, growthāfocused logistics organization as a Warehouse Supervisor overseeing a highāvolume build area where pallets are assembled, wrapped, and loaded for delivery. This role is ideal for leaders with strong attention to detail, a safetyāfirst mindset, and the ability to manage performance in a fastāpaced, unionābased environment.Youāll supervise 10ā12 direct reports, including order pickers and pallet builders, ensuring daily goals for safety, service, productivity, and reliability are consistently met. š ļø Key Responsibilities
ā¢ Plan daily and weekly manpower to meet production needs while minimizing overtime ā¢ Lead daily shift meetings to communicate safety updates, operational priorities, and gather employee feedback ā¢ Assign work duties to ensure efficient workflows and KPI achievement ā¢ Manage warehouse operations across pallet building, wrapping, staging, and truck loading ā¢ Train and coach employees on SOPs, safety protocols, and performance expectations ā¢ Track productivity and reliability using statistical data and equipment metrics ā¢ Resolve conflicts and enforce disciplinary actions when necessary ā¢ Complete assigned projects and support continuous improvement initiatives š Essential Skills & Requirements
ā¢ 2ā5 years of leadership experience in warehouse, logistics, or production ā¢ Strong safety orientation with the ability to enforce compliance ā¢ Experience supervising union employees highly preferred ā¢ KPIādriven management with proven ability to meet nightly goals ā¢ Inventory and logistics knowledge ā¢ SOP enforcement and process adherence ā¢ Handsāon capability when needed (not a working supervisor role, but must be comfortable assisting) š§ Additional Skills & Qualifications
ā¢ WMS experience ā¢ SAP/ERP proficiency ā¢ Inventory control ā¢ Shipping/receiving experience including FedEx ā¢ Strong communication skills (verbal & written) ā¢ Microsoft Office proficiency ā¢ Proactive problemāsolving and ability to anticipate operational needs ā¢ Education: ā¢ Associateās Degree + 3 years related experience + 0ā1 years supervisory experience OR ā¢ High School Diploma/GED + 5 years related experience + 2+ years supervisory experience
