About this role

Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our growing production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PCB assembly, soldering, blueprint reading, and electronic manufacturing processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. Key Responsibilities

• Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs), wiring harnesses, and electronic components according to specifications. • Perform precision soldering of wires, connectors, and electronic components. • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. • Inspect assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements. • Operate manufacturing equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently. • Troubleshoot assembly issues and recommend corrective actions. • Support production goals while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. • Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures. • Assist with training new employees on assembly techniques, soldering methods, and production processes as needed. • Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to improve manufacturing efficiency. Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. • 2+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, or a related manufacturing environment. • Proficiency in hand soldering and electronic component assembly. • Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings. • Experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and production equipment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Why Work Here?Our company is experiencing significant growth, providing an excellent environment to polish your skills or learn new ones. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Lyme, CT. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
