QualificationsGS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating workforce staffing requirements by conducting organizational studies to collect retention or attrition data for analysis in order to develop and plan recruitment events or strategies to meet program staffing objectives. Major DutiesYou will oversees and administers the recruiting and selection processes of Engineers in partnership with a representative from the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department (NEPD).You will manage employee development activities associated with recruitment and retention of Engineering and Planning Department (EPD) engineers.You will organize recruiting events, coordinate recruiting trips and site visits, and coordinate outreach outreach regarding engineering hiring needs.You will develop local engineering hiring program policies and procedures to support the NAVSEA Engineering Recruiting Partnership goals and objectives.You will manage engineering recruiting efforts to meet the forecasted workforce needs of EPD with highly qualified engineers from both accredited engineering schools and private industry.You will create guidelines, procedures, standards, requirements and expectations for hiring managers regarding recruitment.You will develop and monitor the selection process with the goal of placing candidates in the appropriate divisions.You will contact shipyard personnel at all levels of authority and collaborate with engineering recruiters at the other Naval ShipyardsYou will develop and implement plans to expand the awareness of engineers in Hawaii by identifying, scheduling and managing internal and external job fairsYou will actively participates in outreach at all education levels by visiting institutions, creating and presenting, and facilitating hands-on engineering activities.
