About the roleYou will contribute directly as a robotics software engineer to our product codebase, designing and building cutting-edge robotics and automation software powering our customers' automated systems. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver robust, maintainable, and well-tested software that drives real-world robots.
Your Responsibilities
Design, implement, and improve robotics software platformsDrive architectural improvements and reduce technical debt in critical robotics componentsEnhance the stability, performance, and robustness of our robotics solutions as they scale to new customers and use casesInvestigate and resolve complex software issues, including those reported from robotic deployments, and deliver lasting solutionsCollaborate with product owners and engineers from various disciplines to translate real-world automation challenges into well-engineered robotics solutionsReview code, mentor team members, and help raise the engineering bar across the robotics software team
Essential Skills
Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Information Technology, Games Engineering, orequivalent experienceStrong C# and C++ skillsSolid understanding of design patterns and clean code principlesExperience with code testing (unit, integration, and beyond)Experience building industrial-grade software for robotics or automation applications•Excellent English communication skills
Beneficial Skills
Experience with one or more of: motion planning, control theory, machine vision, deep learning, computer graphics (OpenGL, Vulkan), or simulation softwareExperience with WPF or Avalonia, and the MVVM pattern
