OPM Qualifications Standards are available at Group Coverage Qualification Standard for Administrative and Management Positions Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped applicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, you must possess one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service: For this position, the next lower grade level is a GS-12. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience in serving as a technical advisor for HR information systems, enterprise automation, Microsoft Power Platform solutions, and robotic process automation (RPA) Experience in designing, implementing, supporting, modernizing, and improving enterprise HR technology solutions that increase operational efficiency, improve customer service, strengthen internal controls, and automate complex business processes. Experience collaborating with HR staff, managers and/or supervisors to develop recommendations and alternatives to resolve complex issues Experience serving as a technical advisor on workforce analytics and federal staffing data management by utilizing Microsoft Power BI to integrate, analyze, and visualize USA Staffing data. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Major DutiesThe physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia. Presence at the Alexandria, VA campus is required for this role, as it includes on site functions that must be performed in person. Position may be eligible for situational telework in accordance with agency policy/business unit discretion. The agency currently allows for 52 hours of telework per calendar year. This position is located in the Human Resources Information Systems Division, Office of Human Resources. You are experienced in serving as the technical lead for enterprise HR automation initiatives utilizing Microsoft Power Platform and UiPath technologies. You are committed to providing senior technical support for USA Staffing, HRConnect, eOPF, and related HR enterprise applications. You're excited about designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and related Microsoft 365 services. You can lead enterprise business process improvement initiatives using Lean, Agile, and human-centered design principles. You are able to lead multiple enterprise HRIS and automation projects from planning through implementation. You are an experienced professional in providing expert technical support for HR enterprise applications and automation solutions.
