Job SummaryYou will serve as a PRODUCTION FACILITIES & PLANT EQUIPMENT MANAGER in the Production Resources Department of PSNS and IMF. This position is eligible for situational telework, based on management discretion.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical direction and leadership for the planning, coordination, and execution of production facility, equipment and utility programs in support of naval ships or submarines. Major DutiesYou will be responsible for the supervision and technical direction of a division consisting of approximately 100 employees.You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, relying on subordinate managers and supervisors, who guide and control the workforce, to set priorities, assign work and establish schedules for work completion.You will review work completed by subordinates, accepting, amending, or rejecting work.You will participate in and conduct long-range, intermediate, and emergent planning for the Department.You will conduct feasibility studies to determine availability of manpower resources, facilities requirements, and other support functions essential to the accomplishment of the Department mission.
