Requirements: Experience of delivering a framework that can be developed, applied and refinedExperience of developing and defining a formal Service Transition framework, supporting processes or complete documentationExperience of determining what exists, what is missing, what good should look like, and the recommended plan for establishing the functionExperience of defining and delivering a practical Service Transition framework, with the processes and documentation required to use itExperience of building, testing and improving the framework so that it can subsequently be used across the wider application estateExperience of assessing an immature Service Transition capability and then designing and implementing the framework, governance, processes, and documentationExperience of working with ambiguity, engaging IT and business stakeholders, challenging priorities, driving decisions and taking ownership without waiting for detailed directionExperience of knowledge management and wider process improvement would be valuableExperience of working with 3rd parties Responsibilities: Build a repeatable Service Transition framework and the supporting capabilityCreate a consistent way to determine what should enter IT ownership, in what order, and through what controlsCover assessment and prioritisation, ownership, support arrangements, service acceptance, operational readiness, governance, reporting, escalation, knowledge transfer and handover into BAUBuild, test and improve the framework so it can be used across the wider application estateEngage IT and business stakeholders, challenge priorities, drive decisions and take ownership Technologies: ArchitectSupport More:
We are seeking a Service Designer/Architect for a 6-month hybrid assignment in the Midlands, starting ASAP. We are looking for someone to help us build a Service Transition framework and supporting capability, defining the processes and documentation needed to establish and improve the function across our wider application estate.
