Job Title: Assembly TechnicianJob DescriptionThis role focuses on assembling aerospace components using sheet metal and precision tools in a clean, organized manufacturing environment. You will perform deburring, riveting, and countersinking operations while following detailed work instructions and blueprints to produce high-quality parts. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative production team.Responsibilities

• Assemble aerospace components using sheet metal, titanium, and other materials according to work instructions and engineering blueprints. • Perform deburring operations on metal parts to remove sharp edges, burrs, and imperfections while maintaining dimensional accuracy. • Carry out riveting and countersinking tasks using appropriate hand tools and equipment to meet aerospace quality standards. • Use manual mills for countersinking when required, ensuring precise depth and alignment. • Measure parts accurately with calipers, micrometers, shim gauges, and height gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances. • Interpret and follow detailed work instructions, blueprints, and production documentation to complete assemblies correctly and on schedule. • Operate hand tools safely and effectively for cutting, drilling, fastening, and finishing operations. • Maintain focus and alertness while performing repetitive tasks to ensure consistent quality and productivity. • Work independently within assigned cells as a proficient operator, performing complex assemblies with minimal supervision. • Assist with training, guidance, or troubleshooting within assigned cells to support team performance and knowledge sharing. • Communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and supervisors to report progress, issues, and improvement ideas. • Follow all safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and quality guidelines to keep the work area clean, organized, and safe. Essential Skills

• Prior aerospace assembly experience. • Hands-on sheet metal assembly experience, including work with titanium and other metals. • Experience with deburring metal parts in a production environment. • Proficiency in riveting and countersinking operations. • Experience using manual mills for countersinking (strongly preferred). • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and detailed work instructions. • Proficient use of calipers, micrometers, shim gauges, and height gauges for precise measurements. • Prior experience with a variety of hand tools and the ability to explain how and where they were used. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand how mechanical components fit and function together. • Ability to stay focused and alert while performing repetitive tasks. • Punctuality, professionalism, and respect for coworkers. • Basic computer skills for accessing work instructions and production documentation. • Capability to work independently as a proficient operator, including performing complex assemblies. • Experience working in an aerospace manufacturing or similar precision production environment. • Comfort working within structured production cells and collaborating with a small team. • Ability to assist with training or troubleshooting within assigned work areas. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. • Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and equipment as needed. The position operates on a day shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., supporting production activities such as deburring, sheet metal work, and assembly. You will regularly use tools and equipment such as hand tools, calipers, micrometers, shim gauges, height gauges, and manual mills. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
