Diesel Mechanic Location: Ocoee, FLPay: $32-$37/hourSchedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 4:00 PMFor a quicker response please reach out to our hiring Recruiter Nick @ 407-754- 2326 Overview We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to support the maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles and equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing operation as we open a new shop in Ocoee, FL. If you have experience working on diesel trucks, construction equipment, or rental fleet equipment and enjoy troubleshooting complex mechanical issues, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities
• Perform all levels of preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment. • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and sensor-related issues. • Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns and equipment failures. • Maintain and service: • Bucket trucks • Service trucks/work trucks • Boom trucks • Small excavators • Other fleet equipment
• Perform brake repairs, routine inspections, and scheduled maintenance. • Utilize diagnostic software and tools to identify and correct equipment issues. • Document maintenance activities and service calls using Fleetio and company-issued tablets. • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support. Required Qualifications
• Valid Driver's License. • Experience performing maintenance and repairs on diesel semi-trucks and/or construction equipment. • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. • Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance programs. • Ability to work independently in an outdoor shop environment. • Comfortable using tablets and software to document repairs and service activities. Preferred Qualifications
• CDL Class A. • Experience with equipment fleets from Sunbelt Rentals, United Rentals, or similar organizations. • Electrical troubleshooting experience, including: • Trailer wiring • Lighting systems • Electrical diagnostics
• Experience using computer-based diagnostic tools and software. Work Environment
• New outdoor shop located in Ocoee, FL. • Monday-Friday schedule, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM. • Approximately 50 hours per week. • Rotating evening on-call schedule. • Occasional weekend coverage required a few times per year. Compensation & Benefits
