Job Title: Quality SupervisorJob DescriptionThe Quality Supervisor is responsible for supporting quality systems and making recommendations for improvements. This role provides quality assurance support to designated programs, products, or departments to ensure that products are built in accordance with customer and company quality criteria while maintaining production flow. Additionally, the Quality Supervisor is tasked with developing and implementing health and safety programs, ensuring employee safety at work, and using proper safeguards. The role also includes managing the company's compliance with all environmental standards and regulations. Responsibilities • Support quality systems and recommend improvements. • Provide quality assurance support to designated programs, products, or departments. • Ensure products meet customer and company quality criteria while maintaining production flow. • Develop and implement health and safety programs for the company. • Ensure employee safety at work and enforce the use of proper safeguards. • Manage compliance with all environmental standards and regulations. Essential Skills • 3-5+ years in a manufacturing environment, preferably plastics extrusion, blow molding, or injection molding. • Experience with plastic extrusion processes, extrusion blow molding (EBM), injection molding, process troubleshooting, and production quality support. • Knowledge of ISO 9001. • Experience with SPC, FMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis. • Strong drawing interpretation and GD&T skills. The position is based in a plastic extrusion facility with an older plant floor that is kept very clean. The facility has recently expanded to include three new extrusion lines and a larger warehouse/parts staging area. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waterville, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.46/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
