We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Therapies team, assessing a young person in York.

This is an excellent opportunity to deliver specialist occupational therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team, helping assess a young person with complex needs.

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Therapies team, assessing a young person in York.

This is an excellent opportunity to deliver specialist speech and language therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team, helping a young person with complex communication needs to develop functional communication skills, increase independence and thrive within their educational environment.

Developmental Coordination Disorder

Language disorder

Social communication challenged

Movement seeking and lack if maintaining attention

Challenges in fine motor manipulation

Needs verbal prompts to complete daily activities

Sensory sensitivity

Behind academically

Reading comprehension at a much younger age

Swallowing difficulties

What We Offer

£70 per hour £40 per hour travel time 55p per mile mileage Flexible working arrangements agreed between the therapist, school, family and young person. Opportunity for further work as our services continue to grow. Supportive, collaborative multidisciplinary team. This is a critical role with a September start, and we are keen to hear from Occupational Therapists who are passionate about helping children and young people achieve meaningful outcomes through person-centred, evidence-based practice.
