Job Title: Machine OperatorShift : 3:15 PM. to 11:45 PM orShift : Weekend shift consisting of two 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday plus two 8-hour shifts on weekdays.Pay : $21.60 - $28.20/hour (based on years experience)Responsibilities
• Work alongside machinists to assist with machining operations on various equipment. • Aid in selecting and setting up the correct tooling, fixtures, and related components for each job. • Monitor production runs and keep accurate count of parts produced. • Maintain detailed and accurate records of parts, measurements, and production activities. • Assist in conducting in-process inspections of parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. • Read and interpret blueprints to understand dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements. • Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions. • Handle and operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during machining and assembly tasks. • Support basic mechanical troubleshooting and adjustments on equipment as needed. • Collaborate with small teams on the production floor to meet deadlines and quality goals. • Apply good problem-solving skills to identify issues in the machining process and escalate or resolve them appropriately. • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northfield, NH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.60 - $28.80/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
