Job Title: Material HandlerJob DescriptionThe Material Handler performs a wide range of warehouse tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This role follows established warehouse and inventory control procedures and accurately completes all required forms, records, and documents to maintain the integrity and accountability of warehouse operations. Responsibilities • Receive all vendor purchase orders and verify that the number of cartons matches the airway bill or shipping documentation. • Receive purchase orders into SAP accurately, ensuring all data entries reflect the physical goods received. • Bag and label materials as necessary and match corresponding goods receipt documents to the appropriate parts. • Stock parts using a handheld scanner in accordance with established warehouse procedures and storage locations. • Maintain accurate inventory placement and organization while stocking to support efficient warehouse operations. • Pick delivery notes in order of priority using a handheld scanner, following warehouse procedures and customer requirements. • Verify picked items against delivery notes to ensure accuracy before packing and shipping. • Pack shipments both physically and systematically in SAP, following the established order of priority and warehouse procedures. • Ship materials based on priority to meet customer requirements, ensuring all documentation and system transactions are completed correctly. • Prepare and complete all required forms, records, and documents for each transaction to ensure full accountability and traceability within warehouse operations. • Follow warehouse and inventory control procedures to maintain accurate stock levels and support overall inventory integrity. • Use SAP and handheld scanning equipment consistently and correctly to process all warehouse transactions. Essential Skills • 2+ years of logistics experience. • Experience with shipping and receiving operations. • Proficiency in inventory handling and control procedures. • Ability to perform accurate data entry for warehouse transactions. • Hands-on experience with shipping, receiving, and transportation workflows. • Ability to use handheld scanners for stocking and picking activities. • Familiarity with SAP or similar warehouse management systems. • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience working in a warehouse environment. • Comfort working with logistics processes from receiving through shipping. • Ability to follow established procedures and prioritize tasks based on customer requirements. • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks across receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Prairie, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
