Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionThis role focuses on inspecting, installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, facilities, electrical systems, and other critical systems throughout the plant. The Maintenance Technician troubleshoots and repairs electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, HVAC, and plumbing systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations in a modern manufacturing environment.Responsibilities
• Inspect, install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, facilities, electrical systems, and related plant systems. • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, HVAC, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency. • Work closely with contractors on major machine repairs, rebuilds, and upgrades, ensuring work meets safety and quality standards. • Determine proper layout, assembly, and installation of systems, including routing and installation of wiring, conduit, and components. • Understand, diagnose, and troubleshoot PLCs and control circuits to resolve automation and control issues. • Use SAP or other CMMS programs to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage preventive maintenance schedules. • Perform industrial maintenance tasks such as repair, adjustment, and replacement of parts on production machinery and support equipment. • Follow safety procedures, lockout/tagout practices, and plant standards while performing all maintenance and repair activities. • Collaborate with production and other departments to identify issues, prioritize repairs, and support continuous improvement of equipment performance. • Assist with planning and executing preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce unplanned equipment failures. Essential Skills
• 5+ years of experience working in an industrial maintenance or related environment. • Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. • Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, and control circuits. • Hands-on experience with industrial maintenance, including inspection, repair, and troubleshooting of production machinery and equipment. • Ability to understand and troubleshoot PLCs and control circuits. • Comfort using SAP or other CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) programs for maintenance tracking and documentation. • Certification in at least three of the following disciplines: electrical, hydraulics, HVAC, or pneumatics systems. • Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, such as schematics and equipment manuals. • Commitment to safe work practices in an industrial environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience with industrial wiring and conduit installation. • Experience in industrial maintenance environments such as manufacturing or production facilities. • Welding experience or certification is a plus. • Forklift certification is a plus. • Familiarity with troubleshooting HVAC systems in a production environment. • Ability to work effectively with contractors and external service providers. • Strong communication skills to coordinate work with production and maintenance teams. The environment emphasizes comfort, organization, and adherence to safety standards. This position works on 2nd shift, from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with opportunities for overtime as needed. Employees work around modern production equipment and use tools and systems related to industrial maintenance, including SAP/CMMS platforms, electrical and mechanical tools, and standard plant equipment. Appropriate work attire and adherence to plant safety and dress guidelines are required. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of LA VERGNE, TN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $88920.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Comprehensive benefits package to its employees, featuring health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plans, and both short-term and long-term disability.
