Job Title: Production Utility / Picker The Production Utility specialist will work with customer orders and prepare and package parts according to customer specifications. This role involves preparing SAP shipments, organizing parts from assembly into warehouse aisles, and requires lifting 20-50 lbs throughout the day. Standing for 10-12 hours per day is necessary, and there is potential training on forklift operations.Responsibilities
• Assist with general shipping duties, including the removal of tape, preparation of units, and weighing/packing various products. • Prepare SAP shipments and assist in the paint/prep area. • Help with unloading incoming parts and placing products within inventory. • Assist in pulling parts from inventory in preparation for assembly. • Perform various shop-floater duties related to production expansion or support tasks like receiving and inventory management. Essential Skills
• 1 year of industrial experience in environments such as warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, shipping, or as an operator. • Strong computer skills, including internet navigation and use of RF scanner. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Previous experience prepping items for shipment is desirable. • Experience working within a shipping department is a plus. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.12 - $22.12/hr.
