Job Title: Machine Operator Job DescriptionThis role operates within a plastic injection molding facility, working with plastic parts produced by injection mold machines and preparing products for shipment. The Machine Operator handles repetitive production tasks such as cutting, trimming, labeling, and packing while maintaining quality standards and accurate records throughout the shift.Responsibilities
• Operate and monitor injection mold machines to produce plastic parts according to specifications. • Inspect parts and report any defects or quality issues immediately. • Prep production materials throughout the day, including repetitive cutting, gripping, shaving, and trimming of plastic parts. • Trim and cut excess plastic from parts to ensure smooth surfaces and compliance with specifications. • Apply labels and stickers to products before stacking and palletizing. • Pack finished products into boxes accurately and efficiently. • Stack and organize products and materials in designated areas. • Handle materials safely and efficiently as part of the production and packaging process. • Keep accurate inventory of materials and finished products. • Complete daily production paperwork and maintain records of activities throughout the shift. • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris. • Work effectively either independently or as part of a team to complete production tasks. • Stand, walk, bend, and lift 5–20 lbs repetitively during production hours. • Work in varying climate temperatures throughout all seasons within the facility. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lindsay, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.90 - $17.60/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
