About this role

Job Title: FinisherJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Finisher with chemical or GMP general labor experience to join our fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will effectively utilize instructions to prepare the proper products, have experience measuring products, and demonstrate proficiency in using hand tools to attach clips to hooks. Responsibilities • Hang materials on racks for secondary finishing. • Utilize hand tools to attach clips to hooks. • Follow directions and keep pace with the production line. • Ensure the proper product is attached and ready for processing. • Use tools to open clips for racks. • Stand for 8-10 hours while working in a dynamic environment. Essential Skills • Experience in a manufacturing environment. • Proficiency in using hand tools. • Attention to detail. • Experience in chemical manufacturing. • Ability to measure products accurately. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Prior hand tool experience is preferred. • Detailing and measuring tool experience is advantageous. Our company takes pride in its partnerships and outreach programs with first responders. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valparaiso, IN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
