About this role

Job Title: Inventory SpecialistPay: $26-$30Job DescriptionThe Inventory Specialist supports multiple departments by ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient material handling, and reliable logistics coordination. This role works closely with deployment, warehouse, and production teams to maintain stock levels, prepare parts, and facilitate smooth shipping and receiving activities while operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Responsibilities

• Support deployment, warehouse, and production teams with day-to-day inventory and logistics needs. • Perform general labor tasks, including assembly, loading, packaging, and material handling as required. • Load and unload containers for the production team to ensure timely availability of materials. • Handle shipping and receiving activities, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments. • Conduct inventory control tasks, including regular cycle counts and reconciliation of stock levels. • Use count sheets and input inventory data accurately into Excel or other tracking tools. • Pick, pack, and ship products according to established procedures and schedules. • Clean and prep parts to meet company standards before deployment or production use. • Manage stock handling and organization to maintain a well-structured and efficient warehouse area. • Operate RF scanning systems to track inventory movement and maintain real-time records. • Palletize materials and finished goods to support safe and efficient storage and transport. • Operate a sit-down forklift to move, load, and unload materials safely within the facility. • Collaborate with logistics and deployment teams to ensure smooth coordination of materials and equipment. • Adapt to changing priorities and tasks in a fluid, flexible start-up environment. Essential Skills

• Experience performing general labor tasks such as assembly, loading, packaging, and logistics support. • Ability to support multiple departments, including deployment, warehouse, logistics, and production teams. • Proficiency in inventory control processes, including cycle counts and stock management. • Ability to accurately use count sheets and input data into Excel for inventory tracking. • Hands-on experience with shipping and receiving operations. • Capability to pick, pack, and ship products following established procedures. • Familiarity with RF scanning systems for inventory tracking and control. • Skill in palletizing materials and products for storage and transport. • Ability to operate a sit-down forklift safely within a warehouse or production environment. • Comfort working in a fast-paced, fluid, and flexible job environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and support additional departments such as deployment and logistics. • Attention to detail when cleaning and prepping parts to meet quality standards. • Strong organizational skills for stock handling and warehouse management. • Basic computer literacy, including working with Excel for data entry and record keeping. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a start-up setting. • Comfort working within a technology-focused defense environment. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hawthorne, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
