Job Title: Electrical Wiring Technician1st shift - $30-$35/HRJob DescriptionThe Electrical Wiring Technician accurately wires electrical distribution products in a fast-paced custom manufacturing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and the ability to interpret technical documentation while working both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.Responsibilities
• Read and interpret process plans, specifications, procedures, and policies to complete wiring assignments accurately. • Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and wire lists to perform required control and power wiring. • Assemble and wire electrical distribution equipment according to applicable instructions and generally accepted practices. • Perform hand assembly operations, including mounting components on back pans, crimping, and stripping wire. • Use hand and power tools, such as screwdrivers, hammers, and torque tools, to complete assembly and wiring tasks safely and efficiently. • Conduct test operations using various bench test equipment to verify proper wiring and functionality of products. • Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure products meet quality and performance standards. • Meet established time standards while maintaining high quality expectations on all assigned work. • Adapt to changing priorities in a custom manufacturing environment and support multiple projects as needed. The facility is not temperature controlled, so it can become warmer in the summer, and there may be strong paint fumes at times. Appropriate personal protective equipment, including steel-toed boots, is required. The atmosphere is relaxed yet productive, and you may wear one headphone while working, as long as safety and communication are maintained. The role follows a first-shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with optional voluntary work available until 5:00 p.m. depending on workload. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Plymouth, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
