Industrial Maintenance Technician Location: Euclid, OHPay: Up to $34/hr + $1.50/hr Shift DifferentialShifts Available:
• 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM (Monday-Friday) • 3rd Shift: 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Monday-Friday) About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production operations through troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial equipment and facility systems. This position is heavily focused on electrical and mechanical maintenance, including 480V three-phase systems, motors, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and facility support. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, responding to equipment breakdowns, and helping maintain a safe and reliable operation. Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability. • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. • Diagnose and repair electrical issues involving 480V three-phase power, motors, motor controls, and related components. • Utilize multimeters and other diagnostic tools to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, and technical drawings. • Repair and replace mechanical and electrical components, test equipment performance, and make adjustments as needed. • Support maintenance of hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, and basic PLC-controlled systems. • Complete routine facility maintenance, including lighting, ballasts, and general building upkeep. • Document maintenance activities and work orders within a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). • Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), and maintain a clean and organized work environment. • Identify and communicate potential safety concerns, equipment failures, and process improvements. Qualifications
• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, or a related field. • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience with 480V three-phase systems. • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. • Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems, motors, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics. • Familiarity with PLCs and automated equipment is a plus. • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, electrical meters, and diagnostic equipment. • Ability to work independently and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns in a fast-paced environment. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
