Job summary
The successful candidate will join a Diabetes and Endocrinology Department at a time of rapid growth and service development across the whole local health system including primary care, secondary care and community care.
The successful candidate will be a 'generalist with a special interest model' of placing ward based acute and sub-acute ward based general internal medicine as a core function while maintaining a specialty interest. The candidate will be welcomed into a well organised department providing a wide range of services in ward based General Internal Medicine and specialty and sub-specialty level services in Diabetes and Endocrinology. We work collaboratively and supportively together and are always looking to improve the care for our patients.

Qualifications Essential
Full registration (and with a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC) MRCP or equivalent ALS

Research qualifications (PhD, MSc, Diploma or equivalent)
Experience Essential
Must have completed at least two years' full- time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) at least one of which will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee in a relevant specialty Must have equivalent experience and competencies Experience within the specialty in the UK
