Job summary Are you passionate about providing exceptional care and education for babies and young children? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly NHS Day Nursery team.
Little Millers Day Nursery, situated onsite at King's Mill Hospital, is dedicated to providing exceptional care and early childhood education for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old. Our nursery operates Monday to Friday, offering a nurturing environment where children can thrive and grow. We are committed to fostering each child's development journey, enabling them to reach their full potential.
We are seeking a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse to join our passionate team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and learning experiences for the children in our nursery. You will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that support the individual learning journey of each child, while maintaining a safe and stimulating environment.

Person Specification
Knowledge Requirements Essential
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Practice Guidance / Statutory Framework. Safe Guarding Children policy and procedure.
Qualifications Academic/ Craft/ Professional Essential
NVQ 3 in Childcare & Education, or equivalent and experience (see experience)
Further Training Essential
A commitment to undergo ongoing professional development
Desirable
Basic Food Hygiene to be completed within 6 months Paediatric First Aid to be completed within 6 months
Experience Essential
Previous experience of working within a childcare setting
