QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing clerical and administrative functions in support of personal property section to include: prevent shipping of unauthorized items; complete required forms for shipping; assist with customs compliance inspections; ensure commercial carriers comply with service agreements of personal property shipments. Major DutiesYou will ensure commercial carriers abide by the Tender of Service (TOS) outlined in the transportation agreement.You will ensure quality service from commercial carriers is received on all inbound/outbound personal property shipments which are to be packed and protected in accordance with established regulations.You will be assigned and operate a light commercial (up to 1 ton) vehicle in the performance of your duties.You will perform clerical duties relative to inbound/outbound shipments and assists with all matters relating to customs compliance inspections.You will assist in assuring that contraband material, to include, but not limited to, narcotics, government equipment, unregistered weapons, and explosives are not permitted in any shipments.
