Job SummaryYou will serve as a COMMUNITY PLANNER in the ASSISTANT CHIEF OF STAFF, G-4, FACILITIES DIVISION of MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT.
QualificationsIn addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: implementing facilities planning systems, and reviewing and updating facilities planning documents, basic facilities requirements lists, and readiness reports to ensure compliance. Major DutiesYou will update the activity master plan, to include analysis/evaluation of land use, siting of facilities, unit area allocations and physical arrangements of facilities to include building assignments.You will draft correspondence for disposal of excess/inadequate facilities.You will provide day-to-day guidance on a variety of planning topics and prepare briefs, reports and point papers.You will maintain all real estate documents for the Depot.
