Experienced Carpenter Wanted
Tekton Design & Property Management is looking for an experienced carpenter to join our crew in the St. John?s/Paradise area.
Responsibilities
* Complete residential wood framing, including floors, walls, roofs and structural openings * Read and work from architectural and engineered drawings * Complete interior renovations and general carpentry * Install doors, windows, flooring, trim and finish materials * Perform demolition, structural repairs and exterior work * Direct carpenter helpers and less-experienced crew members when required * Maintain accurate, efficient and high-quality workmanship * Follow jobsite safety requirements and keep work areas organized
Requirements
* Strong residential framing and renovation experience * Able to work independently and solve common jobsite problems * Comfortable working outdoors and at heights * Reliable, punctual and able to maintain a productive pace * Valid driver?s licence and reliable transportation * Own basic hand tools, safety boots and PPE * Red Seal certification is an asset but not required
Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
