Analyst II
Position Description: Analyzes and coordinates office services such as personnel, budget preparation and control, fiscal affairs, equipment utilization, records control, and special management studies.

Major/Essential Functions: • Supports the application process for the Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences, M.S. in Biomedical Sciences, Post-Baccalaureate Certificate (dental/medical track), and summer internship program. • Supports the admission process by scheduling, coordinating, and confirming applicant interviews for all academic programs. Ensures application completion and data collection. • Supports FGSBS faculty with activities such as, but not limited to, maintaining up-to-date syllabi, managing lecture reminders, making lecture materials available to students, creating and proctoring exams, tracking attendance, and managing coursework deadlines and assignments across all academic programs. • Assists with administrative activities as part of larger projects, such as, but not limited to, work orders, room reservations, audiovisual setup, office maintenance, and collection of data related to other degree programs. • Assists with the coordination of events such as new student orientation, commencement, and other FGSBS activities. • Remain current with all licensure, certifications and mandatory compliances and trainings required of this position. • Adhere to all policies, procedures and practices (Regents Rules, TTUS, HSECEP OPs, etc.). • Personally, and consistently, demonstrate, display and act in accordance with Texas Tech Health El Paso’s Values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Serve as a Value's leader while actively promoting and encouraging staff across the institution. • Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience working at a higher education institution is preferred, as is experience handling sensitive information.
Pay Statement: Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as, the institutional pay plan. For additional information, please reference the institutional pay plan on the Human Resources webpage.

Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in job related field plus two (2) years responsible related experience; OR • Combination of related education and/or experience to equal six (6) years.
