QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing and managing complex shipboard equipment assessments for Quality Assurance and readiness (e.g. planning, developing complex assessment plans and integrated maintenance plans for combat and hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) systems). Major DutiesYou will provide technical guidance on engineering projects for the repair and maintenance of ship systems.You will review assessment procedures prior to issuance and certify satisfactory testing upon completion for Combat systems and/or Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HME) system assessment events.You will plan and enact effective work control and scheduling to meet technical and operational requirements.You will monitor ship's combat and mechanical systems for quality assurance and the identification of maintenance or repair requirements.You will serve as an Assessment Director (AD) responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution management and technical Combat and HME systems throughout the area of responsibility.
